The Adolph-von-Holzhausen-Park is located in Frankfurt Nordend (northend) and accommodates the tiny Holzhausen Castle, which offers a broadly varied cultural program for everyone since 1989.

Shielded by thick walls of the hectic city traffic, this oasis of peace is located on the former garden area of the banker family Bethmann in the north of the city. The heart of the park is the beautiful Chinese Garden.

The 29 hectars large area covers extensive meadows with interspersed groups of trees and shrubs and is the ideal place to relax. Swung gravel paths invite to walking, jogging and bicycling.

The park represents virtually the border between the quarters Bornheim and Nordend. Since there is a dog prohibition here, the Günthersburgpark is very much liked by parents with small children.

The Frankfurt City Forest is with its 5,000 hectares the largest communal city forest in Germany. A 450-kilometre-long network of paths offers walkers, runners, cyclists and hikers ample opportunity for getting out and about!

The botanical garden was founded in 1868 and is with approx. 29 hectars open land and 10,000 square meters in-house, including the palm house with tropical plants, one of the most popular gardens in Europe.

Frankfurt's first public park is under protection since 1986. Heart of the park in eastern Frankfurt is the 4.2 hectars large pond with its floodplain, pastures, reed grass and dunes.

This magnificent garden landscape, created between 1866 and 1875, is protected by sandstone retaining walls and offers a variety of citrus trees, fig trees, palm trees, cedars, even a ginkgo tree.
