What do Partner Cities Frankfurt and Prague have in Common?
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is situated on the River Vltava. The "Golden City" is one of the most beautiful towns in whole Europe and is known for the Gothic and Baroque architecture. The city centre is part of the UNESCO world heritage list since 1992 and attracts millions of visitors every year.
The most famous sightseeings of the city were the Prague Castle and the numerous bridges, many of them being arthistorical important and the closest commonalitiy to Prague's partner city Frankfurt am Main. The most popular ones are:

Prague can be easily reached by plane from Frankfurt. Czech Airlines flies from the hub Frankfurt up to two times per day to the city on the River Vltava. The airport is situated 15 km west of the city centre.
