With approximately 120 km walking trails, you can experience the unique landscapes of the "Rheingau". All you need are a good pair of shoes, a map of the area and good spirits. 

Escape the everyday stress of hectic business and the city life. The Convent Eberbach, characterised from its history and beauty of its location, offers its guests peace and quiet the whole year round.

The "Goethe-Room", is where the poet Goethe resided when travelling between the years 1814 und 1815. Today you can see the room in its almost original state in the Brentano Haus.

The winner of the "Riesling-Weingut 2004" (Winery) combines the appreciation of fine wine and culture in wonderful surroundings. Here you can experience wine tasting, concerts, festivals and seasonal wine markets.

The oldest stone house in Germany can be found in the Rhinegau area. The exact date the house was built is still in debate, but the site is still worth a visit.
